How the seat count works
An active learner is one the mentor did something for in the trailing 30 days — answered a question, sent a reminder, or tracked a goal. Somebody who enrolled two years ago and never came back does not count against you.
Going over your plan warns you in the dashboard. It never stops the mentor mid-course, because breaking a learner’s experience to enforce a billing limit is a terrible way to treat people who paid you.
